Gallery

From the masterpieces of Living National Treasures to
creative works by contemporary artists

The gallery on the second floor (free admission) features profound works of two Kutani artists designated as
Living National Treasures: Yasokichi Tokuda and Minori Yoshida. In addition to this permanent exhibit,
the gallery also holds a variety of seasonal special exhibitions.

The section featuring leading young artists is popular amongst our visitors
and introduces a different side of Kutani ware.

There is also a collection of creative works,
such as tableware and heartwarming designs that suit Western-style rooms with flooring and table seating,
and cute and playful works, Each work conveys the artist’s originality,
and they call out to be picked up.
